The Pluartis Symposium 2026

The Pluartis Symposium 2026:
Seeking the “Inner Citadel” in Pula, Croatia

BRUSSELS / PULA – Following our official launch, Pluartis is proud to announce its inaugural flagship event: The Pluartis Symposium 2026. Taking place from 20–22 August, this thought-leadership gathering will bring together a global community of thinkers to explore the intersection of ancient philosophy and the digital age.

Architecture of the Soul: Building the Inner Citadel

In an era of constant connectivity and rapid technological change, the search for a stable internal foundation has never been more vital. Our debut symposium, titled “Architecture of the Soul,” invites participants to step back from the high-tech noise and rethink the requirements for a meaningful life.

Keynote Speaker: Professor Angie Hobbs

We are honoured to be joined by Professor Angie Hobbs, Professor of the Public Understanding of Philosophy Emerita at the University of Sheffield. A world-renowned voice in classical philosophy, Professor Hobbs will guide our journey, translating ancient ethics into practical tools for modern resilience and leadership.

The Three-Day Immersive Journey

The symposium will utilize the historic landscape of Pula as a living classroom, with daily sessions from 10:00 to 14:00:

Day 1: The Foundation – An exploration of Platonic ethics at the Roman Forum.

Day 2: The Philosophy Arena – A study of Stoic resilience at the Pula Arena, followed by a debate on AI and the “Digital Self.”

Day 3: The Synthesis – Integrating classical wisdom into professional life, concluding with a farewell Epicurean lunch.

Join the Global Community

This event is designed for leaders, creatives, and thinkers who wish to refine their emotional intelligence through a multidisciplinary lens. All sessions will be conducted in English.
