Terms & Conditions
Pluartis (the “Centre”) provides a digital and physical environment for strategic inquiry, artistic production, and specialist curricula. By accessing this website or engaging with the Centre’s services, you agree to the following terms, which are governed by the laws of Belgium.
01 / INSTITUTIONAL SCOPE
The Centre operates as a director-led entity. All content, research, and artistic output provided through our three pillars – Knowledge, Production, and Curation – are intended for professional and educational purposes. We reserve the right to modify the scope of our inquiries or the availability of our digital archive at any time without prior notice.
02 / INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & INTEGRITY OF ATTRIBUTION
Unless otherwise stated, Pluartis and/or its collaborators own the intellectual property rights for all material produced by the Centre (the “Works”).
- Attribution Standard: Any authorized use, citation, or reproduction of the Centre’s Works must maintain the original metadata and artist credits. The specific typographic rhythm and naming conventions (e.g., Subject – Location – Date – Artist) are an integral part of the Work’s institutional identity.
- Usage: You may view and download material for internal use. You must not republish, sell, or redistribute our Works without explicit written authorization from the Principal.
03 / THE COLLABORATIVE REGISTRY & CO-PRODUCTION
Submission of a profile to the Collaborative Registry does not constitute an employment contract. The Centre retains primary administrative and distribution rights for all outputs generated within its Production wing (software, sound, film, text), unless explicitly stated otherwise in a project-specific agreement.
04 / PARTICIPATION IN CURRICULA AND EVENTS
Registration and Financial Settlement: Enrollment is confirmed only upon the issuance of a formal Confirmation. Fees must be settled in full according to the timeline specified in the event prospectus. Applicable VAT will be applied based on the location of service.
Cancellation and Retraction Policy:
- 30 Days or More Prior: Full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
- 14 to 29 Days Prior: 50% refund.
- Less than 14 Days Prior: No refund will be issued.
05 / LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & FORCE MAJEURE
To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, Pluartis shall not be held liable for indirect or consequential damages. The Centre is not liable for failures resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including geopolitical instability, health emergencies, or critical infrastructure failure within the European administrative network.
06 / GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
